I hope your Summer has been fun and relaxing so far! We’ve been busy as ever here at JAMS and enjoying the opportunity to teach abacus to the children in the Sherwood School District. I’ve also enjoyed continuing our classes here at Bethany Village. Classes are still open for the later half of the Summer, so if you’ve been traveling, your children can still enroll for the end of Summer term. We’re all also looking forward to the Fall and would like you to take advantage of our special discount on early registrations... see the special offer section for details!

I hope you enjoy this issue of The News Bead!

bead.gif Does Your Child Want to Show Their Skills?

As JAMS becomes more and more popular we’re getting invited to present the abacus to a wide variety of groups and events. Having a student along to showcase their abilities is always a great way to share the power of mental math with others. If your child would like to participate in these events (some of them take place in the evenings and on weekends), please let us know so we can keep them in mind as opportunities come up. You can often invite your family and friends to events, so it is also a great way to show them what your child is learning at JAMS.
